The middle part of May brings a pause of sorts to the
poker world, with the worldwide blend of poker tournaments
winding down and all eyes turning toward Las Vegas,
where the World Series of Poker begins in barely a

$25,000 buy-in World Championship at the Bellagio in
Las Vegas. A power-packed final table and an
unexpected finish will make this one of the most
anticipated WPT broadcasts in recent history when it
eventually airs. Legislative and business happenings
